Rawalpindi: 10 people including 2 civilians were martyred and 10 people were injured in a suicide attack on a convoy of security forces in Bannu.

According to a statement issued by ISPR, on November 26, a suicide bomber on a motorcycle blew himself up near a convoy of security forces in Bakka Khel general area of ​​Bannu district, resulting in the death of two civilians, seven injured and three others. Soldiers were also injured. On November 26, the suicide bomber in Bannu area of ​​Khyber Pakhtunkhwa turned out to be an Afghan citizen.

According to the statement, the suicide bomber was identified as an Afghan national associated with the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group. The name of the terrorist is Rabinullah son of Khanur Gul while his registration number is 08916164. Rabinullah entered Pakistan on November 26 on an Afghan identity card.

The statement added that the sanitization operation is ongoing to eliminate other terrorists found in the area. Pakistan’s security forces are determined to end the scourge of terrorism.
