Karachi: A one-and-a-half-year-old infant, a resident of Landhi No. 5 and a half, mysteriously drowned in a tub of water and died.

According to the details, on Monday morning some residents of House No. 157 Area F-36 Landhi No. 5 and a half brought the infant to Sindh Government Hospital Korangi and told the doctors that the child had drowned in the water tip.

The doctors checked the child immediately, but the death of the child was confirmed by the doctors.

Later, the heirs took the child to the Edhi Mortuary in Korangi in the Edhi Ambulance, where the Edhi management told them that police action was necessary to keep the child in the Mortuary. They did not take it with them.

According to the sources, the deceased child was identified as Sahil son of Sajid, the grandfather of the deceased owns a Haleem factory.

At the time of the incident, the work of preparing Haleem was going on in the house as usual when the child who was playing standing near the tub full of water could not maintain his balance and fell into the tub and drowned.

As long as the family member was pulled out of the water by death, the police remained ignorant of the incident.
