Quetta: A police officer was also involved in the robbery of 1.8 million rupees on the Iqbal Street area of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.
According to the details, the policeman was also involved in the robbery incident on Iqbal Street, the accused along with his other three accomplices had to snatch 18 lakh rupees from the shopkeeper.
After the robbery, the three suspects escaped with the money, and the shopkeeper seized the opportunity and caught one of the robbers, who turned out to be a police officer, with the help of his colleagues.
Police confirmed the incident and said that the officer involved in the robbery has been detained while raids are being conducted to arrest the absconding accused.
