Commander of the US Central Command, Michael Korella, said in a statement on Twitter that sending weapons to the Houthi militia by Iran is a violation of Security Council resolutions.
The American commander further said that this action of Iran is harmful to peace efforts. The role of allies is critical in preventing Iranian arms transfers and countering Iran’s activities.
On the other hand, the US special envoy for Iran, Robert Maley, has also said in a statement that the evidence of the use of Iranian drones in the region and by Russia in Ukraine is constantly emerging. This is happening despite the denial from the Iranian government. Iran is the main cause of instability in the region.
