ANF conducted anti-narcotics operations in 12 different areas
Quetta: During 12 anti-trafficking operations of ANF, more than 438 kg of drugs were recovered and 9 accused were arrested.
According to the spokesperson of the Anti-Narcotics Force, 289 kg of morphine hidden for smuggling was recovered in an uninhabited area of Kuchlak. Apart from this, 66 kg of heroin hidden in the hilly area of Mastung and 50 kg of hashish hidden for smuggling in Panjgur were recovered.
A Tanzanian national who came from Dubai was arrested at the Faisalabad International Airport in Punjab. 60 capsules filled with cocaine were recovered from the stomach of the accused who came by flight number FZ-391.
600 grams of hashish was recovered from the accused in a passenger bus on Belksor Motorway Chakwal. 12 kg of hashish and 600 grams of opium were recovered from a motorcyclist near Shalimar Town Lahore. 350 ecstasy pills were recovered from 2 suspects near Misrial Road Rawalpindi.
ANF recovered 756 grams of opium from a vehicle near Lalak Jan Stadium Gilgit and arrested the accused. 6 kg hashish was recovered from 2 motorcycle riders near Industrial Road Peshawar. Meanwhile, 2 kg 400 grams of hashish was recovered from the possession of the accused in Hayatabad Peshawar. 10 kg hashish recovered during 2 operations in Zakhakhel Khyber.
Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against all the arrested accused and further investigation has been started.
