All ovens closed for 7 days in Quetta due to bread price dispute

Quetta: Citizens are facing severe problems due to the 7-day strike of Tandoor Association in the capital of Balochistan.

According to the details, Tandoor Association has kept the tandoors closed for the past 7 days in protest against the local administration’s decision to lower the price of bread and actions.

Chairman of Tandoor Association Naeem Khalji said that we have given the price of two hundred grams of bread to the district administration at 35 rupees, but the administration refused to accept it and further reduced the price to 25 rupees.

He said that if we sell bread at such a low rate, then the cost of purchase will not be incurred. Naeem Khalji said that our strike will continue until the demands are accepted.
