Karachi: Another multi-storied building has been illegally constructed, the Sindh High Court ordered the demolition of the illegal building constructed in C1 area in Liaquatabad and registered a case against the SBCA officers and the builder involved in the illegal construction. .
Before a two-member bench headed by Justice Nadeem Akhtar, a hearing was held on the petition against illegal construction in Liaquatabad C1 area, DGSBCA appeared, the petitioner’s lawyer took the stand that Plot No. 52/2 A 6 storied building was constructed illegally in C1 area, SBCA should be ordered to take action against illegal constructions, DGSBCA submitted a report, the court expressed dissatisfaction with the report.

Justice Nadeem Akhtar while remarking said that since 4 years we have been saying to reveal the names of those involved in illegal constructions. Couldn’t find out, how many days will this building be demolished? The court will not accept the excuse that people have settled in the building and cannot do anything.
The court ordered the demolition of the building. BCA has also been ordered to assist, the court ordered to demolish the building and take action against the responsible parties to submit a report on December 14.
