Rawalpindi: The Accountability Court of Islamabad has allowed the investigation in jail pending the request of PTI chairman for 10 days in the 190 million pound corruption case NAB until November 17.
According to the details, the 190 million pound corruption case was heard in Adiala Jail by Judge Muhammad Bashir of the Accountability Court and the NAB prosecutor reserved the decision after completing the arguments on Imran Khan’s ten-day physical remand.
NAB Prosecutor Muzaffar Abbasi made a written request for 10 days physical remand and gave arguments. Chairman PTI’s lawyer Salman Safdar opposed physical remand and sought judicial remand.
Judge Muhammad Bashir reserved the decision regarding physical remand after the arguments were completed.

Judge Muhammad Bashir of the Accountability Court while rejecting the ten-day physical remand request of Imran Khan on behalf of NAB said that the Chairman PTI will be interrogated by the NAB team in Adiala Jail and he will remain in jail on judicial remand.

Sources said that Chairman PTI will be produced in front of the accountability court judge on November 17. Today Chairman PTI also gave arguments in his favor and said that ‘I did not get any personal benefit from Mira-ul-Qadir Trust’.
Sources said that the Accountability Court gave a delayed decision while waiting for a safe decision on Chairman PTI’s Islamabad High Court application. When Judge Muhammad Basheer reached Adiala Jail, the hearing of the cipher case was in progress. Judge Muhammad Bashir had to wait for the hearing of the cipher case in the jail until three o’clock.
The waiting of Latif Khosa and Salman Akram Raja also caused delay in the hearing, the lawyers of NAB and Chairman PTI argued for one and a half to two hours.
