Karachi: A young man died by jumping into a water tank in Malir Memon Goth. The young man shot himself with his pistol in Steeltown.
According to Express News, a drowned body of a young man was found in a water tank located in Darsano Chhanu in Malir Memongoth area of Memongoth police station. On receiving the information, the police and rescue agencies reached the spot and removed the body of the youth from the tank and shifted it to the hospital, which was later handed over to the heirs after legal proceedings.
According to SHO Memon Goth Faisal Malik, the deceased youth was identified as 22-year-old Zeeshan son of Shahid, the youth was a resident of Khokhrapar, whose mental balance was not right and he had tried to commit suicide before.
According to the SHO, one of the youth’s sisters, Memon Goth, lives in Darsano Chhnu. On Sunday night, the deceased had come to her sister’s house along with his mother from where they went to the Dargah. On Monday morning, the youth found a water supply tank nearby. I jumped and drowned.
Similarly, an incident of suicide has taken place in Steel Town, a young man was shot dead in a house in Sabu Goth near National Highway Ghaghar Phatak MDA Flat, whose body was first sent to Steel Town Police Station and later Jinnah was shifted to hospital, the youth was identified as 25-year-old Tariq Chandio son of Muhammad Nawaz.
According to SHO Steel Town Salim Rind, the deceased youth used to work at the state agency and was addicted to drugs. He committed suicide by shooting himself with a licensed pistol
The police handed over the body to the heirs after legal proceedings.
