Karachi: Another 300 people were detained in the operation against foreigners residing illegally in Shahr Quaid.
According to the police, the operation against the illegal immigrants in Sohrab Goth and its surrounding areas continues on a daily basis. Last night also, a search operation was conducted in Al-Asif Square and its surroundings under the leadership of SP Sohrab Goth. .
During the operation, hundreds of suspects were detained, on this occasion all those whose information was complete were released, while those who did not were given some time to collect the information and submit it to the relevant authorities. Check it, if it is correct they will be released, otherwise they will be transferred to Sultanabad camp.
A large number of ladies policemen are also participating in the operation. The operation continued for more than 3 hours, during which around 500 flats (houses) were searched in the operation against illegal immigrants and around 300 people were detained for investigation. One family was found to be undocumented, the suspects are being transferred to a holding camp due to incomplete data.
