According to the central bank, the debt of the government of Pakistan at the end of December 2022 is 50 thousand 996 billion rupees.
A year ago in December 2021, the debt of the government was 41 thousand 547 billion rupees.
According to the data of the central bank, the local debt of the government increased by 24% in one year to 33 thousand 116 billion rupees.
On the other hand, the external debt of the government has increased by 21% to 17 thousand 880 billion rupees throughout the year.
