Islamabad: The police have arrested an operative of a group that was supplying drugs through an online application in educational institutions red-handed.
According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Capital Police, the Ramna police station, taking a major action, arrested the main operative of the group involved in supplying drugs to educational institutions through an online application while supplying drugs from outside a private school.
Drugs in packets were also recovered from accused Muhammad Naseer, the accused used to pack drugs in packets and supply them to students through online application.
The accused tried to escape on seeing the police but the police team strategically arrested him, a case has been registered against the accused and the investigation has been started.
According to the spokesperson, Islamabad Capital Police is committed to eradicating drugs, citizens should support the police to eradicate this scourge and report any suspicious activity on Call 15 or ICT App 15.
