The early morning rains in Lahore reduced the smog while the Smart Lockdown notification was issued.
After the rains in the city, the temperature dropped by about 15 degrees and the smog reached an average of 350 degrees. The Meteorological Department has shown the possibility of more light rain in Lahore. Experts say that the rain will reduce smog-related diseases and respiratory and eye irritation.
On the other hand, the Punjab government has issued a notification of Smart Lockdown. According to the notification, markets will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, while banks, public and private offices, parks and educational institutions will be closed on November 10, 11 and 12.

According to the notification, marriage halls and all industries for manufacturing will remain open, but factory outlets and sales points will remain closed. The business organizations were appealed to keep the markets closed even today.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore says that for the implementation of the notification, the movement of traffic in the city will be restricted. All takeaways will be completely closed and home delivery will be allowed. Citizens should contact the DC office in case of any confusion.
