Accused Qais Mansoor had taken the contract of Uniclub banquet wedding hall from Sabiha Bashir, the rent of which he has not been paying for two years.
Karachi: Golestan Johar Police has registered a case against Humanist Party chairman and NGO operator Qais Mansoor Sheikh for bounced check.
According to the text of the FIR, the accused Qais Mansoor had taken the contract of Uniclub Banquet Wedding Hall in Golestan Johar Block One from the plaintiff Sabiha Bashir, he was not paying the rent of the wedding hall for the last two years.
On repeated demands of the owner of the marriage hall, the accused gave 4 checks of different months to the plaintiff as rent.
The plaintiff deposited the checks for transfer in her account at different intervals, the first check on 25th July 2023 and the second on 11th October 2023 bounced due to lack of balance in the bank account of Qais Mansoor Shaikh.
Despite insisting on the insistence of the owner of the marriage hall, the accused made excuses and did not pay the rent. He is pressing for a return.
