Contempt of court notice to Superintendent Adiala Jail for not talking to Imran Khan's sons

Islamabad: A notice of contempt of court was issued to the superintendent of Adiala Jail for not talking to the sons of Chairman PTI.

Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain of the Special Court of Official Secrets Act heard the petition filed by Shiraz Ahmed Ranjha Advocate, Chairman PTI and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s lawyer, and the superintendent in the court’s request to prevent Imran Khan from talking to his sons. A notice was issued to Adiala Jail.

In the petition filed in the court, it has been stated that despite the court orders, the Superintendent of Adiala Jail did not talk to the sons of Chairman PTI, Salman and Qasim. Superintendent Adiala Jail did not implement the court orders, on which contempt proceedings should be initiated against Superintendent Adiala Jail.

In the petition, it has been requested that the jail authorities be ordered to implement the order to talk to the sons of Chairman PTI. Later, the Special Official Secrets Act Court adjourned the hearing till November 8, issuing a notice to the jail authorities for their reply.
