Mobile service around the examination center will be closed during MD CAT paper, Home Department

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has prepared plans and rules and regulations regarding the MD CAT exams.

According to the Home Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the plan and rules and regulations of the Medical Entrance Test (MD CAT) to be held in the province on November 26 are ready.

According to the announcement, examination centers for MD CAT test will be established and the test will be conducted in eleven districts including Peshawar, DI Khan, Kohat, Mardan, Lower Dir, Swat and Abbottabad.

Printing and other important steps for MD CAT test will be under the supervision of Peshawar Police while details of duty staff for exams will be released by Khyber Medical University.

The statement said that the delivery of all exam materials from Khyber Medical University to the examination centers will be under the supervision of the police, the police will get the support of FIA for all security measures including the walk-through gate for the examination.

Ladies police will also be deployed in the test hall while the traffic system outside and around the hall will be handled by the traffic department, the services of mobile towers near all the centers will be suspended during the test hours.

According to the Interior Department, the secretaries and other administrative officers of all the departments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be kept away from all examination matters, the police will only perform security duties.

CCTV cameras will be installed in all the allotted examination centers of the province, duty staff, students will be completely banned from using mobile phones, health department staff will be deployed to deal with any emergency situation.

It has been stated in the declaration that the Deputy Commissioners of all the seven districts will also perform their duties as Regional Coordinator Officers and the concerned institutions will be bound to maintain the best coordination among themselves.
