Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi recorded a statement to the Gujranwala Police regarding the May 9 tragedy.
According to the details, Gujranwala Police reached Rawalpindi Adiala Jail in connection with the investigation of May 9 tragedy where they interrogated PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi for an hour.
The police asked questions about the role of Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the May 9 tragedy. Jail sources said that the Gujranwala police have recorded the statement of Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
Special security arrangements were made by the Adiala Jail administration on the occasion of police arrival.
Earlier, Shah Mahmood Qureshi has refused to be investigated by the police of three districts of Punjab.
