What did Bushra Ansari say about slapping Yemeni Zaidi in the drama 'Tere Bin'?

Bushra Ansari, the senior versatile actress of Pakistan showbiz industry, in her recent interview expressed her thoughts on the slapping of Mirb i.e. Yamuna Zaidi in Geo’s blockbuster drama serial Tere Bin.

While giving an interview to Geo Digital, in response to a question regarding host Kakshaan Bukhari’s slapping of co-stars on screen, he said that no one is slapped by him.

Bushra Ansari says that she always tries to change such scenes by consulting the director because it is very difficult to slap someone, but sometimes it is not possible.

He further said that the role of Maa Begum is that of a principled woman who does not tolerate that the women of her house dance like this in front of everyone in the beach party, so that scene was necessary to do justice to this character. .

Talking about the growing tradition of dance on the occasion of marriage, he said that earlier there was a time when brides used to get ready only on the day of marriage and celebration, but now they become brides even in Mayan and Henna, there is no difference. There is also dancing in front of everyone, which is wrong and should not happen.

At least for Mayan and Mehendi ceremonies, brides should keep it simple so that they look presentable on the wedding day.

During the interview, he praised the acting of Wahaj Ali, the protagonist of Jio’s blockbuster drama serial Tere Bin, and said that Wahaj has a great expression in his eyes, which makes his character stand out from everyone with his lively performance.

Referring to the current dramatists, he said that they are coming up with the same stories, drama writers should adapt the stories in the modern style, it seems like a very old time where the mother-in-law used to oppress her daughter-in-law. Now, a lot is changing with time, so playwrights should also make the changes in society a part of their plays.
