Karachi: A two-year-old innocent child died after being hit by a blind bullet in the parking area of a private restaurant near Clifton Bilal House Chowrangi. The police have registered a case against unknown suspects.
According to Express News, on February 12, Syed Hasan Sajjad, son of Ali Sajjad, a two-year-old infant, was seriously injured in the parking area of a private restaurant near Bilal House Chowrangi in Clifton, Boat Basin police station. He was shifted to a private hospital.
Later, the injured child was shifted to a private hospital on Stadium Road, where the child died during treatment. The child was a resident of House No. B 10 Block 2 Chapel Sun City Scheme 33. According to the police, the deceased child had come to the restaurant located near Bilal House Chowrangi along with his family for a wedding invitation and had come out of the car parked in the parking area and at the same time there was a sound that started bleeding from the child’s head.
According to the police, a bullet coming from an unknown direction hit the child’s head from the right side, which seriously injured the child. The Boot Basin Police registered a case under the official charge of murder and started investigation.
According to the police, the family of the slain child refused to register a case, which was registered at the government’s behest. According to police officials, the deceased child was shot by a large weapon.
The police detained a few people immediately after the incident, who were released after questioning.
It should be remembered that on February 10, 6-year-old Abdul Ghani, who was riding with his family in the high roof, was killed by a blind bullet near the PT interchange of Qayyumabad. Even after several days of the incident, the police is still unable to trace the accused. After a few days, many people, including children, have been injured due to blind bullets, but the police has not been able to arrest anyone yet.
