The arrest of Indian spies in Qatar is proof of network presence in other countries, Pakistan

Islamabad: The Foreign Office has said that the capture of Indian spies in Qatar is proof of the presence of networks in other countries.

While giving a weekly briefing to journalists, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan has seen reports of execution of Indian Navy officers in Qatar. It confirms the presence of Indian espionage and sabotage networks in other countries, the Middle East and other regions.

He said that Pakistan has been talking about this Indian subversive network for a long time. In 2016, Commander Yadav, a senior officer of the Indian Navy, was arrested in Pakistan for sabotage and espionage. Indian atrocities continue in Occupied Kashmir as well. Kashmiris were also martyred and injured by Indian forces in the past days. Indian atrocities on Kashmir have been going on for decades.

Spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that the President of the Senate of Rwanda is on a visit to Pakistan. Meanwhile, he is meeting with the President, Prime Minister and various ministers. Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar will pay a 2-day visit to Tashkent, Uzbekistan on November 8-9, where he will also attend the Economic Cooperation Organization conference. The Caretaker Prime Minister will present Pakistan’s vision for the future of the ECO and its interdependence.

In the press briefing, the spokesperson further said that the implementation of the immigration plan against foreign immigrants has started in recent days. Pakistan issued a warning to illegal aliens a month ago to leave the country, but this will not apply to migrants who have refugee status.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that atrocities on Gaza by Israel are intolerable. The occupying Israeli forces are committing war crimes with absolute exception. We call on the international community to stop the massacre in Occupied Palestine. The United Nations should push for an end to the siege, an end to the bombing and the opening of the passage on humanitarian grounds.

He said that the repatriation plan is only for those immigrants who are living in Pakistan illegally without documents, it does not apply to refugees. This plan is for illegal immigrants from all countries, which has been developed in cooperation with relevant institutions, departments and law enforcement agencies. A formal announcement was also made in this regard.

The spokesman further said that the Ministry of Interior is looking into the issue of arrests on 12,000 fake passports in Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Interior is also looking into reports of alleged mistreatment of Afghans. The Government of Pakistan has directed all the departments to ensure the dignified return of the returnees. 24 hour helplines have been set up for any complaint.
