Dengue fever symptoms and treatment

According to the World Health Organization, more than 50 million people worldwide suffer from dengue fever every year and more than 20 thousand people die due to this disease.

There are 38 species of mosquitoes that spread dengue virus in about 100 countries of the world. One of these types of mosquito is found in Pakistan. There is no cure or vaccine for dengue fever, it can only be prevented by preventive measures.

The mosquito that causes dengue fever is very sophisticated and clean-loving. It prefers to live in clean rainwater, near domestic water tanks, in containers filled with clean water, pitchers, flower pots and pots, not in dirty water. This mosquito attacks humans at sunrise or sunset.

Fever is known within three to seven days. The fever that starts with the common cold leaves a person completely helpless with severe headaches, muscle aches and joint stiffness. For this reason, this fever is also called ‘bone breaking fever’. Red marks appear on the upper parts of the body. If the nature becomes severe, blood also flows from the nose and mouth.

Early symptoms include high fever, severe headache, severe eye pain. Severe pain in the bones, muscles and joints of the whole body. Nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite etc.

During an attack of the disease, the patient may go into shock due to which the blood pressure drops, the feet become cold, and fine red rashes appear on the inner and outer parts of the body. If the dengue virus infects people again, it can be fatal.

Early symptoms of dengue include fever, weakness, sweating and low blood pressure. Gradually it affects all body systems. The tiny blood vessels we call capillaries begin to burst.

When the disease attacks the brain and haram brain, the patient may die, but most patients start to improve within a day or a half. If there is no improvement, there are symptoms like fever, headache, muscle and joint pain, loss of appetite, vomiting, excessive sweating, chills. Blood tests and X-rays are done to diagnose this disease. Diagnosis of brain and spinal cord disease is done by CT and MRI scans.

In the first stage, when the virus attacks, its symptoms include high fever, severe headache, severe pain in the body, back and joints. The face becomes red and this redness spreads to the rest of the body. The eyes become red, the light is not good and the eyes water. There may be stiffness and stiffness in the neck. Sleep is affected.

This stage is very severe and the patient’s condition becomes pitiable due to severe fever and pain. In three to four days, the fever decreases and the patient’s condition starts to recover. Prevention of this disease is only protection from dengue mosquito. Wherever this mosquito is born, there should be frequent use of mosquito repellents. There are also oils in the market that prevent mosquitoes from biting if applied to exposed parts of the body and hands.

Due to this disease, platelets in the blood are very low. This makes it difficult for the blood to clot when it bleeds from the body. Many times a life-threatening disease takes the form of ‘dengue shock syndrome’.

Supportive therapy is given to treat this disease. Complete rest should be given during the illness. Drinkable items, clean water, drinks, fresh fruit juice, soup should be used as much as possible. Consuming fresh fruit and vegetable soups also helps to restore the patient’s energy. If the patient is unable to eat or drink much, then it is important to administer a drip of platelets, which can be obtained from a blood bank.

Prevention is better than cure, so the dengue-carrying mosquito should be completely prevented from thriving. The most important thing is to spray in places where these mosquitoes breed. Water should not be allowed to collect anywhere, where it is not possible to spray immediately. Adopt mosquito prevention measures at home, in which the use of mosquito nets is very important.

Dietary treatment of dengue fever:

The best remedy for dengue fever is to mix one spoon of honey in one cup of lukewarm water and use it in the morning and one hour before lunch and dinner. Propolis (royal jelly) which comes from the bee hive. It is a powerful antiviral. It is commonly available in Europe but in our country we can get it from honey extracted beehive.

Cut three gram pieces of this beehive and chew one piece in the morning, the other in the evening and at night four times a day and suck the juice, the required amount of propolis will be obtained. This gives a great boost to the immune system so that the dengue virus cannot do much harm.

Papaya leaves are also a cure for this disease. Drinking two fresh papaya leaves or their juice in the morning and evening increases platelets surprisingly within a few hours. Take ten grams each of black pepper, kalonji, charita, wormwood and grind them finely. Mix the three well and one gram three times a day in the morning, afternoon and evening, along with celery and mint coffee should be consumed by the patient.

People affected by dengue fever should consume food rich in vitamin K, vitamin B and vitamin C. Rice mung dal khichdi, turnip beetroot carrot cabbage bitter gourd, orange pomegranate, sweet sweet and guava are useful food in it.

No vaccine has yet been discovered to prevent the dengue virus, for which scientists are desperately trying. The biggest breakthrough in this regard has been made by North Carolina State University, in which special bacteria will be injected into the female mosquito’s body, making it unable to transmit the virus.

Efforts are underway to treat dengue locally. In this regard, “Papaya syrup” has been prepared by extracting the juice of “papaya” leaves and adding some other useful herbs to it in the welfare hospitals run under the “Customs Healthcare Society”.

Papaya leaves are very effective in reducing dengue fever, building immunity and keeping blood platelets in normal condition. Nature has put immense potential in papaya leaves, it is used to prevent and treat dengue. In India, mosquito nets are prepared by soaking in papaya leaves as the leaves repel mosquitoes with disease prevention and treatment. According to research, dengue-carrying mosquitoes run away from houses where papaya trees are planted in their lawns.

Additionally, repellents made from papaya leaves have also been made to protect against mosquitoes. An enzyme called papain is found in papaya leaves. It contains 212 amino acids. This enzyme enters the body and produces antibodies against the dengue virus, which kills the virus. With the elimination of the virus, the amount of platelets in the blood also returns to normal.

Apart from amino acids, papaya leaves also contain vitamins A, C, E, K, B complex and B17. The phytochemicals present in these leaves strengthen the body’s immune system.

Due to the strong immune system in the body, the virus entering the body cannot cause more complications. Research has also shown that ‘papain’ present in papaya leaves has anti-viral properties. Apart from this, the use of papain is also useful in other diseases, joint pain, ulcers, swelling in the body and cancer.

Amino acids, minerals and other natural ingredients present in papaya leaves energize the body and strengthen the immune system. The vitamins contained in it also reduce facial wrinkles. The phytochemicals present in papaya leaves not only strengthen the immune system of the body by being added to the blood, but their addition to the blood produces antibodies that attack the dengue virus and render it ineffective. Gives

Consuming papaya syrup builds and strengthens immunity in the body. The fever subsides and the dengue virus becomes ineffective. Allah Almighty has placed all the natural nutrients, minerals, nutrients, vitamins in papaya leaves. Due to which the use of its extract is useful for dengue virus disease and other diseases such as ulcers, weakness, body pain, joint pain.
