Unknown armed motorcyclists fired at the police gate
Islamabad: 2 accused of raping a girl were killed in a police encounter in F Nine Park of the federal capital.
The police traced the suspects involved in the F Nine Park sexual assault incident through Safe City cameras. In the footage, the accused are seen on a motorcycle passing through the gate of the park. The accused were also armed at the time of the incident.
The police set up a special barricade in Sector 12 to arrest the accused, when two unknown armed motorcyclists opened fire on the police.
According to the police, all the vehicles were being checked strictly when the unknown motorcyclists started firing on seeing the police.

Due to security measures, the policemen were safe. Both the accused were seriously injured in the retaliatory firing. The assailants were shifted to the hospital but could not survive.
According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Capital Police, the dead attackers have been identified. Both the accused were wanted in serious crimes including street crime.
Both the accused were also involved in the incident of raping a girl in F Nine Park while one accused was involved in the murder during the robbery.
The dead accused were identified as Iqbal Khan and Nawab Khan. Cases of murder, robbery and street crime have been registered against the accused in the twin cities.
