Peshawar: The Anti-Terrorism Court approved the bail of PTI’s former Deputy Speaker Mehmood Jan in the murder case.
ATC Judge Jahanzeb Shinwari heard the bail plea of PTI’s former Deputy Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Jan, who was arrested in the murder case, in which the court granted the plea and ordered the release of the former Deputy Speaker.

According to the police, the former Deputy Speaker has killed one citizen and injured another over a property dispute. A case of murder and attempted murder has been registered against the accused in Reggi police station. The Deputy Speaker was arrested from the courtroom after being granted interim bail, after which he applied for bail.
The Anti-Terrorism Court approved the bail application filed by Mehmood Jan and issued the release order.
