After more than 800 flights were cancelled, PIA resumed operations

Karachi: Air operations of the national airline are on the way to recovery after more than 800 flights were cancelled.

A total of 45 PIA flights will be operated today. The flight operation of the national airline has progressed towards improvement, according to which most of the flights operated today are international flights.

According to the sources, departure of small sector flights is also being made possible today. Flights to remote interior destinations Gilgit and Skardu will also be operated today. Apart from this, flights from Karachi to Quetta are also being restored today after 8 days.

Already, more than 800 PIA flights have been canceled due to fuel and financial crisis, costing the national airline Rs 10 billion.
