Lahore: PML-N senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has met Maryam Nawaz on the instructions of party leader Nawaz Sharif.
According to party sources, after the news of factionalism in Pakistan Muslim League came out, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had a meeting with Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz at the party secretariat in Model Town, which lasted for about an hour.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi reached Lahore to meet Maryam Nawaz on the special instructions of Nawaz Sharif. In the important meeting, Maryam Nawaz assured Shahid Khaqan Abbasi that she will take the senior leadership along with her in party matters.
Maryam Nawaz while talking said that I have a strong relationship of respect with you. Those who propagate ignorance will fail.
According to sources, Shahid Khan Abbasi said in a meeting with Maryam Nawaz that I was, am and will always be Nawaz Sharif’s soldier. I am of the opinion that consultation should be given priority on every issue in the party.
Meanwhile, the inside story of Maryam Nawaz and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s meeting in Lahore came out. According to party sources, Maryam Nawaz said in the conversation that I am your sister, I want to play an important role in the development of the party and the country under your guidance. The party is not mine alone. Under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, everyone will work together for the party.
Maryam Nawaz said that leaders like you are the pride of the party and your eternal sacrifices cannot be forgotten.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said in the conversation that I have dedicated everything to Muslim League-N. Nawaz Sharif is my leader, Shahbaz Sharif’s guidance has always been with me. I love Nawaz Sharif, that’s why I am in PML-N. I remained in the PML-N and I will remain in the PML-N till the end. There is no distance from the PML-N. I am still in touch with Nawaz Sharif and the party today and will continue to be there tomorrow.
