Federal Government and FBR got relief in super tax cases from Supreme Court of Pakistan.
A 3-member bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Attabandial of the Supreme Court has given a decision while hearing the case related to super tax.
The Supreme Court ordered all the parties to pay 4% super tax instead of 10%.
The Supreme Court has issued an order on the appeals of the federal government and the FBR against the decision of the Sindh High Court.
It should be noted that various industries had challenged the super tax imposed in the budget last year.
The Sindh High Court had invalidated the collection of 10% super tax from last year.
On which the federal government and FBR filed an appeal in the Supreme Court for recovery of super tax.
