Karachi: A young man riding a motorcycle was killed by motorcyclist firing on Pakistan Road Ayesha Manzil Bridge.
According to the spokesperson of Karachi Police, the victim was identified as 28-year-old Shiraz Mughal, son of Dilawar Mughal, while the unknown motorcycle-riding suspects were going from Ayesha Manzil to the water pump while trying to stop the motorcycle riders with the intention of robbery. When they did not stop, they shot and killed them and escaped without looting.
The deceased’s maternal uncle said that the deceased was a resident of Garden Chandni Chowk Chandni Arcade and the only child of his parents. Has a sheet iron shop on Lawrence Road. Shiraz also worked with him in his father’s shop, Shiraz had taken two and a half lakh rupees from a party in connection with his business and was going to have a meal at the water pump with his friend Ahmed.
Ahmed told the police in his statement that he was driving a motorcycle and Shiraz was sitting behind him when two motorcycle riders came from behind on the Ayesha Manzil bridge and asked him to stop but Shiraz told him not to stop the motorcycle. said
Ahmed said that he heard the sound of the gun being chambered but he did not hear the sound of firing, the accused fired and fled while Shiraz fell on the ground from the motorcycle, with a bullet in the chest. An ambulance was called immediately and when it reached the hospital, the doctors said that Shiraz had died.
The police say that in the initial investigation, the incident seems to be robbery resistance, but investigations are also being conducted regarding target killing.
