Karachi: The lunar eclipse will begin at 11:02 PM Pakistan time.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the lunar eclipse will begin at 11:02 PM Pakistan time, while a partial eclipse of the moon will occur at 12:35 PM.
The Meteorological Department also said that the lunar eclipse will reach its peak at 1:14 PM, while the partial eclipse will end at 1:53 PM.
The agency further said that the end of the lunar eclipse will be at 3:26 PM according to Pakistani time. Moreover, the lunar eclipse will be seen in different countries of Asia, Europe, America and Africa.
On the other hand, eclipse prayer will be offered today on the occasion of the green moon in the Haramin Sharif. Eclipse prayer will be organized in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid Nabawi.
In Masjid al-Haram, Imam Kaaba Bandar bin Abdul Aziz will lead the eclipse prayer, while in the Prophet’s Mosque, Ahmad bin Talib bin Hameed will lead the eclipse prayer. Qasuf prayer will be offered at 10:45 PM Saudi Arabian Standard Time in the Haramin Sharif.
