Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Malik Zubair Towana has developed an anti-trafficking strategy, in which other agencies also have a role to play.
In a statement, Malik Zubair Towana said that the impression that non-filers are left with more tax is wrong. They are also taking more tax from non-filers and bringing them into the system.
Malik Zubair Tawana also said that it is everyone’s responsibility to file return in law, automatic tax management will solve many problems.
He said that 5 million returns have been filed in the year 2022-23, there is a shortage of resources, so there is a delay in reaching the non-filers.
Chairman FB Aar said that Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited is removing the shortcomings and restructuring.
