The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved the disbursement of Rs 8 billion funds to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
A meeting of the ECC was held under the chairmanship of the Caretaker Federal Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, in which the funds of 8 billion rupees were approved for PIA.
According to sources, the meeting has approved the release of funds to PIA to deal with emergency situations.
According to sources, the ECC has approved the provision of funds to PIA to meet the necessary expenses.
In the meeting, the implementation of bilateral agreement with PIA and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) was directed.
