Mexico City: Hurricane Otis hit the coast of the North American country of Mexico, killing 27 people.
According to the World News Agency, Hurricane Otis, with a speed of 270 kilometers per hour, caused widespread destruction in Mexico.
Trees were uprooted due to strong winds. Roofs were blown off houses and hotels as storm surges swept in from the coast into residential areas.
9 lakh people were affected in the coastal area. Patients had to be shifted to a safer place due to fears of flood relays entering the hospital.
The flood relay destroyed everything in its path. Many people were swept away in the floods. 4 people are still missing. The fear of increasing the number of casualties is being expressed.
During the rescue operations, the bodies of 27 people have been recovered, while more than 100 people have been shifted to the hospital with injuries. The meteorological department has prohibited the citizens from going to the beach for a few more days.
