Islamabad: The federal government has set up a fact-finding committee to identify those responsible for the Faizabad sit-in.
The Attorney General has submitted an implementation report according to which a fact-finding committee has been formed to implement the decision of the Supreme Court on 6 February 2019 in the Faizabad sit-in case.
The report states that the fact-finding committee includes Additional Secretary Home, Additional Secretary Defense and Director ISI. The fact-finding committee will conduct the inquiry under the prescribed TORs.

According to the Attorney General’s report, the committee has been given the task of determining the culprits, the committee will review all the documents, records and evidence. The committee will record the statements of the relevant witnesses.
The fact-finding committee will examine the matter in the light of the relevant laws while also examining the role and instructions of the concerned management, the committee will submit a report with its recommendations.
