Chennai: Pakistan’s fast bowler Hasan Ali will not be a part of the team in the match against South Africa while Fakhar Zaman is likely to return.

According to the team management, Hasan Ali has been suffering from fever since last night due to which he did not participate in the training session on Thursday. Hasan Ali is healthy but will be rested for tomorrow’s match to fully recover.

Remember that Hasan Ali was included in the team due to Naseem Shah’s exclusion. Hasan Ali has taken eight wickets in five World Cup matches.

On the other hand, Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Nawaz have been declared fit for the match against South Africa. There is a possibility that Wasim Jr. will be included in place of Hasan Ali in the match against South Africa.

According to sources, Fakhar Zaman is also expected to return to the team in tomorrow’s match. Looking at Fakhar Zaman’s performance against South Africa last year, Imam-ul-Haq can be included in the team.
