Islamabad High Court; Details of the federal secretaries appointed by the previous government are sought

Islamabad: The High Court sought the details of the federal secretaries appointed by the previous regime.

There has been significant progress in the case of transfer of officers on the order of the Election Commission in the Caretaker Government, according to which the Islamabad High Court has asked for details as to how many federal secretaries are doing the work assigned by the previous government. ?

The Islamabad High Court has directed that the Election Commission should implement its notification regarding transfers without discrimination. If the order of the Election Commission is not implemented without discrimination by next Tuesday, then the order will be suspended in this case. The court inquired that the Election Commission specifically wrote about the police in the notification, how many transfers were made? .

During the hearing on the petition against the transfer of the deputation officer member planning appointed in the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Justice Mian Gul Hassan asked that the Chairman CDA and the Chief Commissioner were transferred at your behest. The Law Election Commission replied that both the officers were transferred on our request.

Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb inquired whether your notification regarding the transfer has been fully implemented? Since 6, 8 months, the Secretary Education has been the same. The Election Commission wants the transfer because these are the officers who were appointed by the previous government. Were these the only people who were appointed? Or were there some secretaries? which still exist. On the previous date, I asked whether the Secretary Education who has been appointed for 7-8 months is the same.

The court directed the DG Election Commission to give you one more chance to act on your notification without discrimination. Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk was also the caretaker prime minister, he once said that during the caretaker period, the Election Commission does everything. Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb remarked that the Election Commission cannot pick and choose in its orders during the caretaker period.

Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb said that the court is showing patience, giving another chance to the Election Commission. The court inquired from the DG Law Election Commission that the name of the police has been specifically written by you, how many people have been transferred? It also seems that the orders of the Election Commission are not being obeyed.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing till Tuesday, giving an opportunity to the Election Commission.
