A discounted electricity package has been prepared for industrial consumers across the country including Karachi.
Sources say that the electricity tariff relief package will be presented to the Cabinet Energy Committee today for approval, it has been proposed to give relief from Rs 3.32 to Rs 17.84 per unit tariff.
The proposed industrial package will be for November 2023 to February 2024. The package will be applicable to industrial consumers of all electricity companies including KEC.
Sources say that 3 proposals have been given for relief in electricity tariff in the industrial package.
