Quetta: The Sibi Harnai section (track) of Pakistan Railways has been restored after almost 17 years.
Syed Mazhar Ali Shah, Chairman and Secretary of the Railway Department on the social networking website “X” said that Sibi Harnai section was restored yesterday with the help of Pakistan Army and FC.
Caretaker Provincial Information Minister Balochistan John Achakzai congratulated the people and authorities on the restoration of Sabi Harnai rail service.

John Achakzai said that after 17 years rail service between Sabi and Harnai was successfully started yesterday, resumption of train service will provide facilities to the people. It was heartening to see the enthusiastic response of the locals at the railway station in the area.
The caretaker provincial information minister said that the restoration of Sabi to Harnai rail service is a welcome initiative, appreciating the efforts of the railway authorities and the Frontier Corps. FC has played an important role in reviving the rail service.
