Karachi: Unknown suspects opened fire and killed a MQM Pakistan official in Orangi Town area.
According to the details, motorcycle-riding accused killed a person by firing indiscriminately near Khairabadaman Chowk in Orangi Town in Manghopir police station limits and escaped.
The police inspected the incident, the deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Niaz Hussain. According to the police, the victim belonged to MQM Pakistan and the incident is a target killing.
According to the police, 4 shells of nine mm pistol have been found from the incident. Former Member of Assembly Sadaqat Hussain also reached the hospital where he while talking to the media said that the deceased Niaz Hussain was a former sector member of Orangi Town. Before the start of the meeting, Niaz Hussain had gone on some important work, after some time it was reported that he had been killed.
He said that in the meeting the officials of new organizations were also to be announced. The deceased’s brother Imran said that the deceased Niaz Hussain was a resident of Orangi Town, Shah Waliullah Nagar, and was the eldest among 7 brothers, and was the father of 3 children.
