The International Cricket Council (ICC) has added two Pakistani fielders to the impact list in the World Cup.
On behalf of ICC, 2 fielders from Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia and India have been made part of the impact list, while one player each from England and Afghanistan is included.
Unbeaten in the tournament and former captain of the host India team, Virat Kohli occupies the top position in the list while his compatriot Ishan Kishan is at the 10th position.

Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan with 15.13 and opener Fakhar Zaman with 13.1 rating points have been selected by the ICC as impact fielders, both occupying the fifth and ninth position respectively.

Virat Kohli 22.30, Joe Root 21.73, David Warner 21.32, Dion Conway 15.54, Shadab Khan 15.13, Glenn Maxwell 15, Rahmat Shah 13.77, Mitchell Santner 13.28, Fakhar Zaman 13.01 and Ishan Kishan are there with 13 rating points.

So far in the tournament, India have held 14 catches while saving 10 runs in total, India have dropped only two catches in the field during the first 3 matches.

The tournament hosts have been awarding the ‘Gold Medal’ to their best fielder in each match of the tournament so far, with Kohli winning the award during India’s stunning victory over 5-time World Cup champions Australia at the start of the event.
All-rounder Shardul Thakur received the award for his brilliant catch on the boundary during the match against Afghanistan.
