Karachi: Three robbers who were looting from citizens were killed in a police encounter in Napier police station limits.
According to DIG South Asad Raza, Napier police have killed three robbers in the encounter while a passerby was also injured in the firing.
In this regard, SSSP City Amjad Hayat said that the accused on a motorcycle were fleeing after looting at Eid Gah Chowk when the police reached the spot where they opened fire on the police. He was killed while a passerby was injured in the firing.
He said that the accused were robbing the citizens, but the police shifted the dead and injured to the civil hospital. Weapons, cash, mobile phones and motorcycles have been recovered from the possession of the dead robbers.
