Quetta: The Balochistan National Party (BNP) has announced a long march on October 22 over the ongoing tension in Wadh and the government’s alleged lack of action against those responsible.
The central leaders of BNP held an emergency press conference at Quetta Press Club, in which BNP leader Malik Naseer Shahwani said that a few days ago we had pointed out the deliberate deterioration of the situation in Wadh, on which now Sardar Akhtar Mengal and BNP are being punished.
He said that in order to raise his voice for his region and people, efforts are being made to keep Sardar Akhtar Mengal away from the elections, which will not be successful in any case.
Malik Naseer Shahwani said that from 2008 to 2014, incidents of terrorism increased in Balochistan, while extortion had reached its peak in Khuzdar and Wadh in the last few months, on which only BNP raised its voice.

He said that BNP is being punished for raising voice for the problems of Balochistan.
Malik Naseer Shahwani said that BNP under the leadership of Sardar Akhtar Mengal will take a long march from Wadh to Quetta on October 22 and we will not give up the peaceful struggle under any circumstances.
