Peshawar High Court upset over repeated arrest of PTI leaders

Peshawar: The Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court was angry over the repeated arrest of PTI leaders despite the court orders, on which the IG and the Chief Secretary assured not to arrest the leaders again.

A hearing was held in the Peshawar High Court on the petition against the illegal detention of PTI’s former city president Irfan Saleem. Chief Secretary, IG Police, Advocate General and petitioner’s lawyer Ali Zaman appeared in the court.

Chief Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan said that the court orders are repeatedly being violated, the court grants interim bail to the accused but despite the court orders, they are arrested again, you can assure us that the court orders will not be violated in the future. Will be.

Chief Secretary and IG Police said that we assure that this will not happen in future.

Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim said that you should follow the book of the constitution and do what the law says, there should be no exception for those who violate the law, it should not be that the court suspends a warrant of someone and you Take out the second warrant, Violation of the law is not the sign of civilized nations.

Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim said that if you are affected by any order of the court, then you come to the court, we will listen to you but do not violate the court orders, whatever happens in the court will be according to the law.

The Chief Justice said that no judge has any political affiliation, all judges take decisions according to the law. I have been working as a judge for 32 years. Whatever the problem may be from any political party, come to the court, we will hear it, law is equal for all, whatever happens in the court will be according to the law.
