The State Bank of Pakistan has provided clarifications regarding the blue and green notes of Rs 75 and declared both to be usable in transactions.
In a statement released on social networking site X (formerly Twitter), the State Bank clarified that both the blue and green notes of Rs 75 are legal and can be used for all transactions across Pakistan.
It should be remembered that on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan, the State Bank of Pakistan issued a commemorative note of Rs 75 which was green in color.
Later, on the completion of 75 years of the establishment of State Bank, the Government of Pakistan issued a commemorative note of 75 rupees, which was blue in color and had a different design from the previously issued notes.
Both currency notes can be used for public transactions.
