Quetta: Sindh Rangers and Customs Intelligence conducted a joint operation at the Karachi-Balochistan border hub check post and arrested 5 suspects and recovered drugs and non-customs-paid items worth more than two crore rupees.
According to Express News, Pakistan Rangers Sindh continues to check the entrances of the city to prevent smuggling, Sindh Rangers and Customs Intelligence conducted a joint operation during checking at the hub check post on the Karachi Balochistan border based on secret information. 5 suspects were arrested and 2 kg 50 grams of ice was recovered, the value of which is more than 2 crore rupees.
During the checking, other non-customs paid items including huge quantity of cigarettes, Indian Gutka, betel nuts and China salt were also recovered which were hidden in the secret compartments of the buses. The arrested accused along with drugs, non-customs paid items and buses were handed over to the customs authorities for further legal action.
