Islamabad: The High Court has directed to approach the trial court while dealing with the request of chairman PTI in the cipher case, while the judgment has written that the jail trial is in favor of chairman PTI in view of security.

Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq has disposed of Chairman PTI’s request against hearing the cipher case in jail with instructions.

The verdict said that PTI Chairman himself has expressed his security concerns several times, apparently there was no ill will on the matter of the jail trial. If there are reservations about the jail trial, the petitioner can approach the trial court.

It should be noted that Chairman PTI had filed a petition against the jail trial of the cipher case.
