Occupied Jerusalem: Israel, while expressing happiness on social media over India’s victory over Pakistan in the Cricket World Cup, also mocked Mohammad Rizwan.
This was for our brothers and sisters in Gaza.
Happy to contribute in the win. Credits to the whole team and especially Abdullah Shafique and Hassan Ali for making it easier.
Extremely grateful to the people of Hyderabad for the amazing hospitality and support throughout.

In a statement on the Israeli government’s official X (former Twitter) account on Pakistan’s defeat to India, the Israeli government said that we are happy that India won the World Cup match against Pakistan. Pakistan has not been able to attribute its victory to Hamas terrorists. The way the friends of India expressed their solidarity with us was very impressive.
We were really moved by Indian friends showing their solidarity with Israel
We are happy that India emerged victorious in the #INDvsPAK match at #CWC23 and that Pakistan was unable to attribute its victory to the terrorists of #Hamas. https://t.co/tvgYATe0Af

Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka in the ongoing Cricket World Cup in India. Muhammad Rizwan, who played an unbeaten innings of 131 runs in the match, named the victory of the Pakistani team in the name of Palestinians facing Israeli atrocities in Gaza.
