Lahore: Information and Culture Minister of Punjab Aamir Mir has said on Munis Elahi’s statement that Mons Elahi, who fled the country and is hiding in Europe to avoid corruption cases worth billions of rupees, is spreading evil lies about Punjab’s caretaker government. Close.
He further said that the Punjab government has not handed over any government school to any private educational institution, nor has there been any decision to privatize government schools.
Aamir Mir said that the real pain for Munis Elahi is that the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi is working day and night to improve the condition of schools in the province and the fugitive Chaudhry is not aware of this.
It should be remembered that Munis Elahi had said that Mohsin Naqvi started sharing the most valuable buildings and facilities of public schools of Punjab with private institutions of his choice as his own property.
He further said that the constitution and the law do not allow the caretaker government to do this, the result of this illegal privatization of education will inevitably be a huge increase in fees. After privatization, how will they be able to bear the burden of their children’s heavy educational expenses?
