Karachi: The plane of the Indian private airline Air India made an emergency landing at the Karachi airport on medical grounds.
According to sources, Indian Airlines flight IX192 was traveling from Dubai to Amritsar when the passenger started having epileptic seizures during the flight.
The Indian captain contacted the Pakistani air traffic controller and after receiving permission, the plane made an emergency landing at the Karachi airport, the passengers were not allowed to disembark.
According to the spokesperson of CAA, the Indian plane landed at Jinnah Terminal yesterday at 12:28 PM. Border Health Services and CAA doctors arrived immediately after the plane landed.
Border Health Services and CAA doctors provided immediate medical assistance to the passenger and the flight was taken off after the passenger’s condition improved.
