Karachi: A 7-year-old child was killed and his uncle was injured in the firing of a wedding ceremony in the town of Orangi Town Colony.
On Saturday night, 2 persons including a child were seriously injured in the shooting of a wedding ceremony in the Orangi Town police station area of Orangi Town police station area.
The deceased child was identified as 7-year-old Ayan Ould Abdullah, the person injured in the shooting is Naeem, uncle of the deceased child who was shot in the leg. The deceased child was the youngest among 4 siblings.
The father of the deceased child said that there was a wedding ceremony in the neighborhood on Saturday night. When I came out of the house, I came to know that my brother Naeem and son Ayan were injured in the wedding ceremony. The son succumbed to his injuries and died during treatment.
He said that he did not see anyone firing during the wedding ceremony, but other people of the neighborhood have seen the person who fired. The police know who did the firing.
