Gaza: A hospital has been forced to use local ice cream trucks as makeshift morgues for Palestinians killed in an Israeli attack.
According to international media reports, Yasser Khattab, a forensic pathologist at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza, said in a video message sent to CNN that the Martyrs’ Hospital in Deir al-Balah is unable to handle the increasing number of deaths.
Yasir Khattab added that some bodies are preserved for several days before being collected. Forensic pathologists stress that Gaza is in crisis, we plead for help.
Khattab added that Gaza needs relief supplies, including refrigerators in morgues, hospital medical equipment, caskets for the dead and other supplies.
