Karachi: An eleven-year-old child committed suicide after his mother stopped him from playing in the city of Qaid.
According to the details, 11-year-old Hammad committed suicide by hanging himself in a house near Al Falahi Mosque, North Karachi Sector 10. The police said that Muhammad Hamad had arrived one to one and a half hours late by cycling, on which his mother scolded him and forced him to reach home early.
When the mother stopped and restrained the child, he committed suicide. Hamad’s family told the police that the mother was busy with household chores while Hamad was in the room. When the mother reached the room, he had committed suicide by swinging from a noose.
The police shifted the child’s body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem and then handed it over to the family members.
